We piled our Empire hummus and fresh cucumber on top of our Hippie Health bread for a toast that’s filling and nutritious. As a bonus our Hippie Health is made from whole wheat, plus flax and sunflower seeds.
Hummus and Cucumber Toast
Empire Hippie Health bread, toasted to desired doneness
Cucumber, sliced in ribbons
Red pepper flakes, to taste
Spread hummus on toast. Using a vegetable peeler, slice cucumber into long horizontal ribbons. Place ribbons of cucumber onto hummus and sprinkle with salt and red pepper flakes.
